Air Transat resuming flights today after six-month pause


Air Transat’s planes are returning to the skies today after a six-month grounding due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Three flights are scheduled for July 30, which heralds the airline’s summer program. The season will include 16 destinations in Canada, the US, Europe, and sunspots at its peak.

There are currently 113,818 unemployed in the Murcia region

The latest monthly figures published by the national employment services show that unemployment fell by 349 people in the Region of Murcia during June, representing a decrease of 0.31 per cent and situating the total number of unemployed in the region at 113,818.

Around 300 passengers visited local tourist attractions in organised “bubbles”

The first cruise ship to resume coastal cruising in Spain since Covid-19 paralysed the cruising sector docked in Cartagena on Saturday on its maiden journey around a new coastal route; the ‘Mein Schiff 2’, operated by TUI which made the first stop of its journey in Malaga earlier this week.
