Jim Furyk, a 17-time winner on the PGA Tour and the only professional golfer to post two rounds below 60 on the PGA Tour, is the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS golf tournament’s official host.

When Tabitha and Jim Furyk moved to San Marco about three years ago, they decided to debut a new event to raise funds for their foundation that would highlight their favorite sport – golf – in a new location.

Through a multiyear agreement, the Jim &

Yelling ‘Brooksie’ at Bryson DeChambeau Can Now Get Fans Kicked Out of a PGA Tour Event

The confrontation between Bryson DeChambeau and an oiled-up heckler Sunday at the BMW Championship was only noteworthy for DeChambeau’s response in the heat of the moment. He’s been called “Brooksie” any number of times in the last few months during his tug-of-war with Brooks Koepka.

But PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan has drawn a line in the sand and is daring anyone to cross it. Yelling “Brooksie” at DeChambeau or other as-yet-to-be-named insults could get you tossed from a Tour event. He said so in a meeting with the media at this week’s Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club

ST. LOUIS – David Toms beat Dicky Pride with a par on the first hole of a playoff Sunday in the PGA Tour Champions’ inaugural Ascension Charity Classic.

Toms hit his approach in the playoff on the par-4 18th to the middle of the green and two-putted from 18 feet. Pride’s approach went to the right into a greenside bunker and he couldn’t get a 16-footer for par to fall.

The 54-year-old Toms scrambled for par on the 18th in regulation after driving left into a fairway bunker. He shot a 5-under 66 to finish at 10-under 203 on Norwood

Except for one year—and we are not talking about the 2006 edition featuring Michelle Wie—the tournament was forgettable.

But that one year is crucially important. In fact, it could be argued that the edition in question holds a special place in the history of golf and the tour.

For a tour guide, 9/11 prompts new NYC narrative

We were in love with our new apartment in New York City, especially the 300-square foot terrace with its panoramic views of Lower Manhattan. Because we lived on the 24th floor, it felt like we were floating in the sky.

A licensed tour guide, I was thrilled to be living in the heart of the historic Financial District. I had taken thousands of tourists over the years to the World Trade Center complex, where we would take the 82-second elevator ride to the observatory on the 107th floor and enjoy views that stretched 45 miles in every direction.

ATLANTA — The PGA Tour didn’t post any videos of Bryson DeChambeau on Thursday, but the Golf Channel did, and commenters raced to make the same joke.

“Good shot, Brooksy.”

“Nice swing, Brooksy.”

“Let’s go Brooksy.”

This is no surprise; if social media’s takeover of society has made one thing clear, it’s that Keyboard Confidence is absolutely a thing. Brancitis69 or j_chonks—yes, those are real usernames—can fire that off from the comfort of their couch knowing they’ll never have to defend their comments to DeChambeau’s face. Even the fans who have seen DeChambeau’s face in person, at PGA Tour events,
