ST. LOUIS – David Toms beat Dicky Pride with a par on the first hole of a playoff Sunday in the PGA Tour Champions’ inaugural Ascension Charity Classic.

Toms hit his approach in the playoff on the par-4 18th to the middle of the green and two-putted from 18 feet. Pride’s approach went to the right into a greenside bunker and he couldn’t get a 16-footer for par to fall.

The 54-year-old Toms scrambled for par on the 18th in regulation after driving left into a fairway bunker. He shot a 5-under 66 to finish at 10-under 203 on Norwood

Amazon Employees Can Win Cash, Cars, Vacations (if Vaccinated)

Amazon has decided the best way to encourage more of its employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19 is by running a corporate lottery with some irresistable prizes.

As Bloomberg reports, the lottery is called “Max Your Vax” and it’s offering some seriously big rewards for employees who first prove they’ve been vaccinated. In total, 18 prizes are on offer worth around $2 million. Those prizes include two $500,000 cash rewards, six $100,000 cash rewards, five brand new vehicles, and five vacation packages.

Six vaccinated Californians win ‘dream vacation’ packages in ‘Vax for the Win’ drawing

Saunders prevails in playoff to win inaugural Forme Tour event

WATKINSVILLE, Georgia—He may not be the official King of the State Opens, but Sam Saunders does have three wins in state events—in Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. Where Saunders hasn’t won is on a PGA TOUR-affiliated Tour. That changed Saturday.
